The President and Founder of Kingsway International Christian Centre, Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo, has appointed his first son, Tobi Ashimolowo, as Resident Pastor of the KICC in London. This is coming as a hint about his own ‘retirement’. His wife Pastor Yemisi Ashimolowo, who is the co-founder of the ministry, will be assisted by him, Pastor Tobi Ashimolowo.
His mother, Yemisi Ashimolowo, has been the resident pastor of the church for a quiet a long time.
In a video shared on the Facebook Page of a church, on Sunday, It revealed the lead pastor, Ashimolowo making the announcement to the excitement of the congregation.
In the video, Ashimolowo said, “In a very major way from this morning, we will no longer have one resident pastor. Yemisi has served as our resident pastor, so she will be Resident Pastor 1. Our new resident pastor is Pastor Tobi Ashimolowo. So, he is our Resident Pastor 2, he has to take some serious responsibility from now on. These guys are retiring their father.”
He prayed and blessed his son that he will be mightily used by God. That God will grant him the Favour to draw his own generation to him, and to shake systems.
