Even as a young child, his devotion for God and the ministry was obvious. From kindergarten to junior high school, he studied in Kumasi’s El-Shaddai model school.
How He Started Ministry?
He began organizing prayer gatherings in Class Six while as a student of El-Shaddai Model School and continued doing so all the way. Eventually, he was accepted into Kumasi’s Adventist Senior High School and eventually the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), where he earned a Bachelor degree in Science in Biological Science before graduating.
Also from Central University, he holds an MSc in Religious Studies. He became a member of the Pentecost Student Association while attending the university and regularly planned room fellowship with his fellow students.
Pastor Elvis Agyemang graduated from KNUST, taught biology at Tema Technical Secondary School, and then spent a some time working for Acacia Health Insurance before being called to the ministry fully.
When Pastor Elvis Agyemang was facing a disease that nearly stole his life in 2015, the Lord visited him and gave him the blessing to launch Grace Mountain Ministry. Pastor Elvis Agyemang started his church ministry on June 6th, 2015, with 32 people attending the first Saturday service. Since then, the membership has grown.
Pastor Elvis held services as a fellowship for the first two years, gathering every Saturday and Sunday, until God gave him the go-ahead to start Sunday morning services as a church. Then, in order to accommodate the expanding membership, Pastor Elvis Agyemang started construction on a new base. The church’s present state-of-the-art auditorium, located in Ofankor Accra, Ghana, and serving as the headquarters for his ministry.
